In a status meeting....

If you cannot convince them, confuse them....

Government competency....

The single most exciting thing you encounter in government is competence, because it's so rare.

Government employees.....

They are like missiles.....It does not work and cannot be fired.....

Congress....

Pro is an opposite to Con...
Does this mean that Congress is opposite to Progress....:-)

Kirukkals to think...

One who drinks...gets drunk...
One who gets drunk...falls asleep...
One who falls asleep....never sin...
One who never sin...goes to heaven...

So does that mean that everyone must drink and go to heaven....

Heights of bureaucracy

Heights of government bureaucracy........I know you all need the selection (measurement taking pose)photograph of the selector....:-):-):-):-). Do we really need a selection procedure? What is the guarantee that the candidate would not grow to the size of the current selector? Do we have a system to monitor this? Do we ensure that our so called 'Saviours' are fit to do their duties? Are there 'Saviours' who monitor these 'Saviours'? Think....think....think...do we really need this selection process? If yes, let this not be an eye wash meant only for selection. Let there also be a consistency in the post-selection fitness too...

Spidey 3

Yesterday (06/May/2007) I went to watch Spidey 3 in Sathyam Cinemas. More than Spidey 3, there was another parallel action drama (Tanglish live drama)was happening behind me. It all happened this way - a young guy in his mid-twenties sat next to an approximately 65yr young lady. Immediately her 70yr old young newly-wed hubby started shouting at our young guy - 'nee eppadi da yennoda pondatti pakkathula ukkaruvey?' - This drama was going on for 45mins and I should accept that, it was worth watching than the Spidey 3. So, after my intermittent watching of the movie for the first 45mins - I was still not losing any part of the story owing to my concentration errors, it was much predictable.

Spidey 3 was targetted at kids and I was able to see so many kids yawning, sleeping and talking 'kekkey bikkey'. This was majorly due to lots of 'frenching' scenes, that made those kids 'nelinjified'. I should also accept that mostly the parents of those kids were 'nelijifying'. Though the movie was supposed to be a major action flick, Spidey was more interested in expressing his love towards his girl friend (man......you must see to believe it....Spidey running behind his girl friend to make her accept his love.....Why Spidey you are moving behind this old lady to express your love and not our model - police officer's daughter in this version of the movie?). I heard some kids whispering...'Spidermanoda girl friend oru kizhaviyaa??...(again some kekkey bikkey...).

Except for some pain-taken action sequences involving major visual effects, there is nothing else in this 'blockbuster' movie. Spidey - if he drops his hair in his forehead, he is a bad man and if he nicely combs his hair and looks like our 'gnanapazham', then he is a nice Spidey. What a direction? There is definitely scarcity for stories in hollywood also and hence they started to copy our Kollywood and Tollywood movies.

Before I forget, it is my kadamai as a tamilian to mention the similarities between our 'Gabtun' and Spidey. Most of the fight sequences have been performed in ground by our 'gabtun' in movies like Dharmapuri and Gajendra. A direct lift. Some visual effects were also copied from our Ramanarayanan movies. This definitely qualifies our Gabtun and Ramanarayanan to come together and give a Hollywood hit. This is high time. Wake up Gabtun and Ram.
